Blood or marrow stem cell transplantation is an effective, often curative treatment for many patients with hematologic malignancies such as such as Hodgkins and non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Acute and Chronic Leukemia, Myelodysplastic Syndromes, Amyloidosis, Aplastic Anemia. Tennessee Oncology, through a partnership with the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center, provides blood and marrow stem transplant services at Centennial Medical Center. We have a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians trained in transplantation, oncology pharmacists, nurse practitioners, specially trained nurses, psychologists, social workers, dieticians, and case managers. The program offers a wide array of transplant services including transplants using the patients own stem cells as well as transplants from a donor. The Sarah Cannon Blood and Marrow Transplant Program is fortunate to have dedicated, state of the art inpatient and outpatient facilities to enhance the care of our patients.
