Tennessee Oncology Moves To New Clinic In Downtown Cleveland

Tennessee Oncology's new clinic in downtown Cleveland.

Tennessee Oncology, Bradley County’s only cancer center, relocated Monday in Cleveland to a facility near SkyRidge Medical Center at 2390 N. Ocoee St.

“We are excited to offer Cleveland and Bradley County a state-of-the-art cancer care facility,” said Dr. Ted Arrowsmith, Tennessee Oncology’s East Tennessee managing partner.  “The new clinic is larger to accommodate more patients and services but remains a warm and caring place to receive compassionate care close to home.  Tennessee Oncology believes ‘Caring for Cancer Patients is a Privilege,’ and we look forward to upholding this ideology at our new clinic.”

The new 10,000-square-foot facility is larger and more spacious, enhancing the care team’s ability to provide hematology and oncology services in a patient-friendly environment, said officials.  The additional space also allows for more infusion chairs, doubling from nine to 18, to accommodate more patients receiving chemotherapy.

In addition, patients have access to new and improved services, including education and research.  Patient advocates and financial counselors are also available to help patients with acquiring and paying for their care.

“Over the years, many of our patients have considered our clinic to be their second home, and we are thankful their home away from home is now a state-of-the-art facility,” said Dr. Sylvia Krueger, a physician at Tennessee Oncology’s clinic in Cleveland.  “We continue our commitment to provide the highest quality of care possible to our patients with genuine love and sincere dedication.”

Dr. Krueger, who has served patients in Cleveland and Bradley County for more than 20 years, is joined by Dr. An Tran and a 10-member care team at Tennessee Oncology’s clinic in Cleveland.

“We have a time-honored passion for service, and we are excited about our new ‘home’ on North Ocoee Street,” said Dr. Krueger.  “We appreciate the support from the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce.”
