TENNESSEE ONCOLOGY CONTINUES TO GROW NETWORK WITH ADDITION OF DR. JEREMY MCDUFFIE

McDu_Je_Lab_CO_Oct_2015_WEBHSNASHVILLE/MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Tennessee Oncology, one of the largest, independent, physician-owned oncology practices in the country, proudly announces the arrival of Dr. Jeremy S. McDuffie. McDuffie, a medical oncologist and hematologist, is at Tennessee Oncology Murfreesboro, which is located at 1840 Medical Center Parkway in Suite 300.

 

“Dr. McDuffie’s expertise and experience align perfectly with our mission to deliver the best and the latest in cancer care,” said Dr. Jeff Patton, CEO at Tennessee Oncology. “Our community-based cancer care clinics deliver high quality cancer care to patients within their communities.”

 

Previously, McDuffie cared for patients at Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers’ Marietta Cancer Center. He was also a researcher with the cancer practice’s William S. Gibbons Cancer Research Institute.

 

McDuffie completed a fellowship in medical oncology/hematology at Vanderbilt University. He also completed a residency and internship in internal medicine at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

McDuffie is board-certified in medical oncology and hematology. He is a member of the following professional organizations: American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American College of Physicians.

 

Outside of McDuffie’s medical oncology/hematology work, he enjoys cooking, chess and dogs.
