A subsidiary of the state’s largest oncology practice group has paid $2.4 million for property along the Charlotte Avenue corridor with plans to relocate certain operations there.
Within three months, Tennessee Oncology plans to move its pathology, central labs and oral pharmacy to the vacant, 11,189-square-foot office/warehouse building at 2108 Charlotte Ave. Currently, those operations are at the practice group’s main location at The Atrium medical office building on 25th Avenue North.
“It’s pretty crowded there,” said Dr. Jeffrey Patton, CEO of Tennessee Oncology and managing partner of the MOCI general partnership of physicians that bought the property on Charlotte Avenue. “We’re trying to move things out so we can expand the clinic.”Read the entire article from the Tennessean
