At Tennessee Oncology Women’s Health Center, our multidisciplinary team includes gynecologic oncologists, dedicated nurse practitioners and oncology nurses. Our Gynecologic Oncologist team provides specialized care for cancer that affects a woman’s reproductive organs by creating individualized treatment plans for our patients.

Treatment Plans

Our gynecologic care team develops individualized treatment plans for women who are diagnosed with or have a higher risk of developing:

Dr. Barnett

J. Cory Barnett, MD

Dr. Barnett, Gynecologic Oncologist, supports our Women’s Health Center in Midtown. He is board-certified in Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics & Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Barnett has a special interest in minimally-invasive procedures, robotic surgical treatments, and advanced surgical techniques for ovarian cancer. He is also part of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO).

Mali Schneiter, DO, MBA

Dr. Schneiter, Gynecologic Oncologist, supports our Midtown and Lebanon clinics. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologic Specialty and Subspecialty in Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Schneiter is an active participant in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the Society of Gynecologic Oncology.

Dr. Stany, Gynecologic Oncologist, supports our Women’s Health Center in Midtown. He is board-certified in Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Stany has a special interest in robotic surgical treatments for patients with gynecologic malignancies and complex gynecologic disorders.

NP Bechtel, is an advanced practice provider supporting our Women’s Health Center in Midtown. She is board-certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation. Emily is certified in the State of Tennessee as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse. She is also part of several professional memberships: The National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, Society of Gynecology Oncology and the Oncology Nursing Society.

NP Brinkley is an advanced practice provider supporting our Women’s Health Center in Midtown. She is board-certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation. She is licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse and Registered Nurse in Tennessee. Ashley is also part of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.

Jill Weida, FNP-BC

NP Weida, is an advanced practice provider supporting our Women’s Health Center in Midtown. She is an American Nurses Credentialing Center board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a special interest in management and treatment of menopausal symptoms, post treatment side effects from surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.
