Cardiovascular Oncology in GU Cancer Care

Monitoring & Prevention

Regular cardiovascular monitoring for patients on androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and other cardiotoxic treatments. Early detection and management of any changes helps maintain quality of life and overall health outcomes.

Risk Optimization

Partnering with your oncology team to optimize treatment while managing cardiovascular risk factors. This includes lifestyle counseling, medication management, and advanced cardiac imaging when needed.

Whole-Person Cancer Care

Cancer treatment is about more than eliminating the disease—it’s about helping patients live full, healthy lives. Cardiovascular health is a critical part of that equation. By integrating cardiovascular expertise into your GU cancer care, we ensure that you’re receiving truly comprehensive, coordinated treatment that addresses the whole person, not just the cancer.

Whether you’re starting androgen deprivation therapy, undergoing radiation, or on systemic chemotherapy, Dr. Slosky works closely with your oncology team to protect your heart and optimize your long-term health outcomes.
