Tennessee Oncology, a nationally recognized independent oncology practice that treats nearly half of the cancer patients in the Volunteer state, is proud to announce it has opened a new clinic in Lafayette, Tennessee. The clinic is located at 204 Medical Center Drive, Suite 2, which is on the Macon County Hospital campus.
Dianna Shipley, M.D. and Tiffani Watson, AGACNP-BC, AOCNP will see patients on Tuesdays in Lafayette. Dr. Shipley is board certified in medical oncology and has practiced at Tennessee Oncology since 1999. In addition to treating patients in Lafayette, Dr. Shipley also practices in Gallatin.
“We are excited to serve patients and their families in Macon County by bringing access to world-class cancer care in the Lafayette community — close to where patients live, work, and raise their families,” said Natalie Dickson, M.D., President and CEO of Tennessee Oncology.
Tennessee Oncology, which has more than 90 sites of care in Tennessee and North Georgia, has recently expanded its care services throughout the state. In 2025, Tennessee Oncology opened its new flagship state-of-the-art cancer care center in Midtown Nashville. The practice also broke ground for a new comprehensive cancer care center in Tullahoma. Moreover, the practice has opened three new centers in East Tennessee and will open a new clinic on a 96-acre health campus in Clarksville.
“We are thrilled to welcome Tennessee Oncology and Dr. Shipley to our medical campus,” said Scott Tongate, CEO of Macon County Hospital. “Having experienced and compassionate cancer care in our community — so patients can get care closer to home — helps ensure patients, and their primary care physicians, know that care will be delivered seamlessly and without delay. We’re fortunate to have Tennessee Oncology on our team.”
