The medical oncology team at Tennessee Oncology Women’s Health Center provides personalized cancer treatments and support for women facing breast and gynecologic cancers. Our specialists work closely with each patient to develop individualized care plans that may include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other advanced treatment options – all delivered with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Rachel L. Mitchell

Rachel L. Mitchell, M.D., MHA

Rachel L. Mitchell, M.D., MHA is a medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of breast and lung cancers, as well as malignant and benign hematologic conditions. She earned her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and completed her residency and fellowship training at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Mitchell is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care while helping patients navigate every stage of treatment with confidence and support.

Samyukta Mullangi, M.D., MBA

Samyukta Mullangi, M.D., MBA is a medical oncologist at Tennessee Oncology with a focus on delivering personalized, patient-centered cancer care. She earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and her MBA from Harvard Business School, and completed her oncology fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Mullangi is passionate about combining compassionate care with innovation to help women navigate every stage of treatment with confidence and support.

Sara Nunnery

Sara Nunnery, M.D., M.S.C.I.

Sara Nunnery, M.D., M.S.C.I. is a breast specialist and medical oncologist and is also part of the Greco-Hainsworth Centers for Research (link to GHCR page) team. She earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, completed her residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Nunnery is dedicated to advancing breast cancer care through personalized treatment, clinical research, and compassionate support for patients at every stage of their journey.

Carl R. Willis, M.D.

Carl R. Willis, M.D. is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist at Tennessee Oncology with more than 30 years of experience in cancer care. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, followed by fellowships at the National Naval Medical Center and Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Willis is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care while helping patients navigate every stage of treatment with confidence and support.

Will Fleming

Will Fleming, FNP-C

Will Fleming, FNP-C is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical oncology at Tennessee Oncology. Fleming earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at East Tennessee State University, and is certified in ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy. He is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered cancer care and supporting patients and their families throughout every stage of treatment.

Miranda Landis, AGNP

Miranda Landis, AGNP is an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical oncology at Tennessee Oncology. Landis earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and her master’s degree from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She is certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse in Tennessee. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Middle Tennessee Advanced Practice Nurses organization.
